RANDOM ROVINGS by Abby Jean

Mar 31 ’16

Sparkles twinkling in midnight breezes.
Lake shining like glass slippers.
Dancing rapid sparks evacuate from the fire.
Twisted thoughts, memories, fading, escaping, returning, and baking.

Burning inside the edges of my mind.
The toaster popped but the edge is stuck.
Stiff bread fighting metal rods.
Who’s stronger.
Who holds their stance longer.

Faeries and trolls.
I melt into my seat.

Life.
Exhale.
Life is so,
very,
intricately interesting.

So,
how do you say,
marvelous.
Glorious.
Just the right sugar and spice.
Nice.
